Happy Halloween!

Tonight we had a lot of fun trick-or-treating and passing out candy because the girls were finally old enough to get excited by it. The girls were dressed as ASU cheerleaders (thanks Grandma Shellie, Ry, & Dallin for helping pick up the stuff for us!) and I have to say were so darn cute. They caught on to the trick-or-treating concept pretty early on in our route and by the third house were marching to the front door with their hand out ready to take the candy. Kaylie even gave one of our neighbors a great big hug because she was so excited. They also loved running to our front door to see all the kids, or "guys" as Jadyn calls it, to help give out candy. I think they will be disappointed though once they realize we won't be doing this tomorrow night too. :)

Getting into the Halloween Spirit

This past Tuesday the girls and I went to work carving pumpkins while Tim was at work. It was a nice day outside so I gave the girls some sidewalk chalk to play with while I carved their pumpkins. They thought the inside was gross but loved them when it was all said and done. They are so proud of their pumpkins and love to put the lids on and off- not to mention blow out the candles. :)

Nice to meet you!

While in Arizona last week visiting my family the girls started doing this out of the blue. My Mom and I were talking in the office when all of a sudden we noticed the girls taking turns opening the office door, shaking hands, and saying, "Nice to meet you!" We looked at each other with amazement wondering where the heck they picked that up from.

Wake Up Ry!

The girls sure love their Uncle Ryan and demand all of his attention. They especially love to wake him up if he lays down to rest.

Jon & Angela's Wedding 10-10-08

My brother Jon married his beautiful wife Angela this past Friday. Their rehearsal dinner was held the previous night at Maggiano's, an Italian restaurant where Jon & Angela had their first date and where Jon proposed. The food was incredible and you know me and food- if there is yummy food I am one happy girl! They were married in the Las Vegas LDS Temple and then had a reception that night at the Four Seasons Hotel. We were so happy we could be there for this special occasion and to see them on their big day. Angela looked so beautiful in her wedding dress and the girls thought she was Cinderella (or "Rella" as they called her the whole day). The reception was so much fun and the girls favorite part was the flutist and harpist that were there. The girls immediately said, "Rella!" and then spent the rest of the time mesmorized by them. I guess Angela did get her fairy tale wedding because the girls thought they were actually in one! The wedding cake was stunning (and delicious!) and the groom's cake was perfect for Jon. It was a Phoenix Suns cake. We are so happy to have them married for time and all eternity and to now officially have Angela in the family. I Am Married To An Attorney!

We had an absolute wonderful day today as Tim was sworn in to both the State and Federal Courts today. It was such a neat moment to see all of his hard work pay off. Our family could not be more proud of him- the girls loved toasting him with their sippy cups tonight at dinner. I was very emotional through out both ceremonies just thinking about all we had been through and how far we had come. He has worked so hard to get to this point and I know that he will make one incredible attorney. It was definately a grand occasion for us today.

Nailpolish

The girls thought it would be fun if they had painted toenails like Mommy. I grabbed my pink nailpolish that is supposed to dry in 60 seconds, which is still not fast enough for Jadyn, and went to work. They absolutely love their nailpolish and were so excited to get a picture of it as well. Gotta love little girls!
