Summer Fun!

We had a beautiful sunny day two days ago and the kids and I took full advantage of it. (FYI- today is June 11th and it snowed this morning!) We pulled out our kiddie pools and our Elmo sprinkler and enjoyed some time in our backyard. The girls had a blast getting wet and running around. Brandon hated being put in the pool but loved sitting on the porch in his play saucer. And I must say he looked so darn cute in his board shorts swim suit! I hope for some more sunny days ahead so we can make this a summer routine. :)

Congrats Kaitlyn!

Congrats Kaitlyn on graduating from Mountain View High School! We were so happy to be able to travel to Arizona to see my little sister graduate a couple weeks ago. I can't believe my baby sister graduated and is off to Rexburg this fall. Man do I feel old.

Kait I love you and am so proud of you. You are the best sister I could ever ask for and you mean the world to me. I wish you luck in whatever you choose to do in life... well as long as it is with stuff I approve of! :)

Dance Recital

Last month Kaylie and Jadyn performed in their first dance recital. I was a very proud mother that day of them getting up and dancing on the stage in front of everyone. They looked so adorable in their performance costumes and they were so excited to have sparkle hairspray and make-up on. (Seriously if my girls could dress up everyday like those pagent kids they would be in heaven!) They did such a great job and my heart about burst to see them on stage.

Fun at the Dinosaur Park

It was the first beautiful day here in a while so the kids and I were anxious to finally spend some time in the sun and be outside. We went down to the Dinosaur Park in town since it is one of Kaylie and Jadyn's favorite places to go. Brandon absolutely loved it. He especially loved going on the swing for the first time. He was all giggles and smiles and it just melted my heart. The girls loved digging for dinosaur fossils in the sand and going on all of the different slides. The tire swing though wasn't as fun as they thought it would be. I really can't believe how big they are getting and the fact that they will be four years old soon. It was a lot of fun today and we hope to go back soon.

One thing I did notice at the park was that Brandon's little blonde head sure is like a magnet for the sun so we stopped and got him a new hat on the way home. He looked so darn cute I had to include the picture. I sure love my little guy and my two girls. :)

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter watching General Conference at home and having fun seeing what the Easter Bunny left at our house. At dinner the night before Easter Jadyn told me the Easter Bunny was going to bring her a chocolate chicken so at about 10 pm that night I was scouring the isles of Walmart looking for one. Luckily the Easter Bunny did not fail and Jadyn got her chocolate chicken! I just love watching Kaylie and Jadyn's face when they come down the stairs to see what he brought. It was a lot of fun having it be Brandon's first Easter and adding a new little Easter basket to the mix. I don't think life could get any better than that. :)

Oh! And for those who don't know- I am a brunette now! Added above is a picture of my new dark hair.

Happy 30th Birthday Timmy!

Tim turned the big 3-0 on March 24th. The kids and I hurried home from dance class to throw Tim a surprise birthday party when he came home for lunch. Kaylie and Jadyn helped me make a big banner for the front of our porch for Tim to see as he pulled up. The girls had picked out a little birthday cake (of course it was pink) and we set up a few decorations around the kitchen. We got on our party hats and had a fun time yelling surprise when he walked through the door. It honestly was such a fun time celebrating Tim's birthday with just our little family and seeing how excited the girls got.

We had a family dinner at a Mexican restaurant here in town that night and then had a big birthday party for all of Tim's friends a few days later where we had dessert and watched March Madness. It was a lot of fun. :)

Brandon's Baby Blessing

On February 13, 2010 Tim blessed our sweet baby boy here in Bozeman. I was so happy that my parents were able to come as well as Tim's sister Debbie and her family, whom all live out of state. Tim gave a beautiful blessing and it made me so thankful to be married to a worthy priesthood holder and to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. It was a wonderful day to be surrounded by so many loved ones.

We traveled to Arizona back in February and I had my good friend Celeste take some pictures of the kids. She does such an amazing job and I am always excited when I can have her do it. With the help of my brother Ryan in making Kaylie and Jadyn laugh, we were able to get some cute shots. Brandon would not go to sleep no matter how hard I tried but we still were able to get some really cute pictures of him too thank goodness. I have so many favorites that I just want to hang all of the pictures she took all over my house. :)

Dance Class

Today Kaylie and Jadyn had their first dance class and they loved every minute of it. They looked so adorable in their leotards, tights, and ballet slippers. We do however need to work on teaching them to wait their turn and to stand in a line. They would get a little excited and would go before they were supposed to. Got to love little girls!

Brandon Roy Hammar is Here!

Tim and I are so happy to announce that Brandon Roy is finally here! He arrived on Sunday, December 20th weighing in at 8 pounds 4.3 ounces. He is such a blessing to our family and we are just in love with him. It is so cute when he cries because Jadyn automatically goes into her singing mode to get Brandon happy again. She usually either sings Jingle Bells at the top of her lungs or Rock-a-bye Baby.

Brandon is such a strong little guy and has even rolled over already and he was just 10 days old! It shocked me as I watched him do it (the picture of him on his stomach is the one I took after he did it). He is absolutely adorable and we just love having a baby boy around the house.

His big sisters have been a big help (just need a lot of supervision) and are quick to give him a hug and a kiss. Jadyn seeing me change his diaper one day and seeing his circumcision ran and told Papa Dale, "Brandon's tail has an owie." He got a kick out of that.

P.S.- if you are wondering why Tim has a hospital mask on it is because he had a bad cold that day. :)

Christmas Morning!

We had a wonderful Christmas morning here and were so happy to see that Santa did not forget our house. We actually had Christmas on Sunday the 20th since I was supposed to have Brandon on the 22nd and the girls were so excited when we set out cookies, chocolate milk (2 cups because each girl had to make him a glass), and a carrot for Rudolf. Well we ended up having to wake up everyone early "Christmas morning" because I started have contractions through the night. I should have known the minute I told Kaylie and Jadyn that Santa was coming that I would go into labor. :) We did have fun though opening presents as a family before Tim and I made the hospital run. It turned out that it worked out really good because while I was in the hospital having Brandon the girls were too busy playing with their new toys to even realize Tim and I were gone.
