Happy 29th Birthday Tim!

We had a great little birthday dinner Saturday night at Tim's parent's house in honor of him turning the big 2-9. The girls had their heart set on making him Thomas the Train cupcakes but unfortunately we were not able to find anything Thomas the Train. So for Tim's birthday he had a Scooby-Doo/ Spongebob birthday. :) The girls were so excited to find the decorations in the store and to make the cupcakes for their Daddy.

I just want to say how much I love my husband and am grateful for all he does. I am sure it isn't easy living in a home being the only guy with 3 other girls! :) Tim you're wonderful and I love you so much. You're the best husband a girl could ever ask for!

While we were at the big birthday party Tim's Dad put on a game for the girls to play. They 'think' they are playing and it is so cute to watch. Here is a video of Jadyn playing and counting as she does- notice that she misses a few numbers in there. :)

Fun at the Park!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day (sunny & 60 degrees!) that the girls and I decided to go to the park and play for a bit. I rode my bike while they sat in the back, which they loved, and rode down the block to the playground. By the time I got there I was huffing and puffing and couldn't believe how really out of shape I am in. Of course I don't think the flat tire that Tim pointed out when he got home that night helped either. :) Oh well, we still had a lot of fun and enjoyed being outside after being cooped up inside for a majority of the winter. Pirates At The Kitchen Table

Today while eating lunch the girls were singing the Spongebob Squarepants theme song at the table. I was laughing so hard once Kaylie said, "Pirates say- Arr matey!" I then ran and grabbed the camera so she could do it again. I just absolutely love this age and love what they come up with. They definately keep me on my toes! :)

I Love My Little Snow Bunnies

Yesterday Kaylie and Jadyn were so excited when their Daddy called on his way home to see if the girls wanted to get dressed (yes they were in their panties!) and help him shovel our driveway. They were so excited to get all of their snow clothes on and go out and play in the snow. I love my girls so much but frankly I could do without some snow for a while. Bring on summer!

The Happiest Place on Earth...Until They Go To Disneyland

Kaylie & Jadyn love it now when we go to McDonald's where they can eat a happy meal and play on the playground. They have so much fun the entire time and have to go through it as much as they can until their mom and dad get tired and want to go home. The first time Kaylie went down the slide she dove down head first without any hesitation. It was a crack up because she definately has no fear. Here is a cute video of Kaylie that I managed to get before my battery died. Amazing that I even remembered to grab the camera and of coarse when I do the battery is on low. Enjoy! :)

Our Favorite Pastime

As of lately one of our favorite things to do as a family is to pop in a movie and snuggle all together in our bed. The girls love it because they can watch a movie and I love it because I usually can sneak in a little nap. :) Kaylie and Jadyn love Monsters Inc. and seem to be favoring that one a little more than the others right now. This afternoon I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures while their Daddy was home for a few minutes from work. Once the girls saw me they started to ham it up and we got a few funny shots.

If you are wondering why they are always in their underwear it is because I can't keep them dressed. The minute they are home they take all of their clothes off and run around in their panties. Even at night when it is freezing the still want to sleep with their pajamas off. I am sure I was never that strong willed as a child and always listened to my Mom. :) (I am sure my Mom is rolling her eyes right about now!)

The Hammars & Hamburgers

Today on the way to Church we happened to drive by a Burger King. Jadyn upon seeing it pointed to it and told me she wanted a hamburger. I told her no and she of course asked why. I then told her that Heavenly Father and Jesus told us not to buy hamburgers on Sunday. Fast forward to tonight when we were gathered around the table eating snickerdoodles that I had made. Kaylie says that she wants a hamburger and Jadyn without missing a beat turns to her and says, "No Kaylie. Jesus Christ said no hamburgers!"

I guess I need to explain my answers for them a little better from now on and try and teach them about keeping the Sabbath day holy and how it includes a little more than just hamburgers. :) My girls just crack me up with what the come up with and their take on the world. I just can't believe how fast they are growing up and how big they are getting.
