The Joys of Picking Up Toys

Yesterday I asked Kaylie and Jadyn to pick up their toys, which I do a good majority all day, every day. Jadyn looked at me with the most serious face and said, "I can't Mom. My legs are broken. I can't walk." She is only 3! Where do kids come up with this stuff? :)

I once asked Danielle to pick up her clothes and put them on her shelf. She turned to me and said, "But mom, the floor is the biggest shelf in my room." How can you argue with that???
