Ryan & Dallyn are Married!

This past Thursday we had a wonderful time attending my brother Ryan and his sweet new wife's reception. It was held in the backyard of the Cowley's home and it was absolutely beautiful. Dallyn looked so beautiful and it was so fun just to see my brother so in love. Kaylie and Jadyn's favorite parts were the candy bar (mine too!) and the dancing. They danced for two hours straight and Jadyn even started to fall asleep while she was dancing. Luckily we grabbed her before she collapsed on the concrete. They didn't move a single muscle all night long and the minute they woke up in the morning they said they wanted to go to Dallyn & Ry's party.

Then on Friday afternoon Tim and I were able to witness Dallyn and Ry be sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona temple. It was just perfect in every way and we are just thrilled for them. They are an amazing couple. I think Kaylie said it best when I was buckling her in the car at the temple. She said, "Ry and Dallyn married? I'm so happy!" It was also really neat having the reception the night before so the temple was the main focus the day of the wedding. It was not so hectic and was just so much fun.

Ryan and Dallyn we love you guys and were so happy we could be there for your big day. We love you!

Congrats Brandon!

Tonight my cousin Brandon Mathews opened his mission call and the girls and I were lucky enough to be in Arizona to be there.  We are excited for him to be a missionary in the Norway Oslo Mission.  We know he'll be a great missionary in bringing the gospel to the people of Norway.  Congrats Elder Mathews!

Out for Pizza

Over the weekend Tim and I stayed overnight in Billings to celebrate our five years of marriage. Our plan was to get up Saturday and go do sealings at the Billings temple. Well just our luck we happened to try to attend the temple the one Saturday it is closed all summer long. We had a good laugh at that and decided it was the thought that counts. At least we got to spend some time together without kids for a day. :)

Yesterday Kaylie asked me if the temple was closed and I told her it was and that was why mommy and daddy couldn't go. She smiled at me and said, "They must have gone out for pizza!" Gotta love that sweet little girl and the things that come out of her mouth.

Happy Anniversary Tim!

Yesterday Tim and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. It is amazing to reflect on what we have been through together these past five years of marriage and to see how much Heavenly Father has truly blessed us. I am so lucky to have Tim in my life and to have him be mine for eternity. He is such a wonderful husband, father, friend, and so much more. I really don't know how I snagged such an incredible guy. Tim I love you and look forward to so many years ahead! :)

And Baby Makes 5!

Tim and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby the end of this year! We couldn't be more thrilled to make our family a family of 5. The girls are happy to be big sisters and want to name the baby Pop (yes, after soda pop). It was so cute when Kaylie told me she had a baby in her tummy too and Jadyn told me she had a daddy in hers. We feel very blessed and can't wait to meet our new little one!

Finally... A Taste of Summer!

The past two days here have been so beautiful that the girls and I have been basking in the sun and enjoying every minute of it. It has been about 82 degrees and sunny, which is great considering it snowed as early as last week! Tim filled up our kiddie pool with water and we let them run wild for the past two days playing in that and in their Elmo sprinkler. It has been so fun to see them get so excited and have so much fun playing. When I brought them inside yesterday Jadyn said, "That was the best birthday ever!" I am not sure what she meant by birthday considering hers is in July but I am glad that she had fun. I just absolutely love this age. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

My Little Frog

This morning Tim told me to go look at Jadyn, who he put in time out, to see the wonderful tattoos she gave herself with a green highlighter. I kind of chuckled and snapped this picture before I became the stern parent to tell her why we don't do that. Later this morning as I was washing off her arms in the bath tub I asked her why she did it. She said with a huge smile, "I look like a frog! I like frogs!"

Hopefully she sticks to highlighters and doesn't move on to real tattoos in the future! :)
